You are invited to Understanding Revenue Audit Memorandum Order No. 1-2019 (RAMO 1-2019), a transfer pricing seminar for locator-members of the Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce on 27 November 2019. We have two sessions:
First Session 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Second Session 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Registration starts at 8 A.M. for the first session and at 1 P.M. for the second session. The seminar will be held at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone with details of the venue to follow. Our speaker will be Atty. Carlo L. Navarro of Deloitte’s Southeast Asia Transfer Pricing Center.
Who should attend: Finance directors and tax/accounting managers are encouraged to attend. CPD credits will be given to accountants attending these seminars.
As you may be aware, the implementation of Revenue Regulations No. 2-2013 requires taxpayers to prepare the relevant documentation and review their transfer pricing position to support their related party transactions. In addition, last August, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued RAMO 1-2019 — a guideline for audit procedures and techniques in the conduct of transfer pricing audit. A copy of the RAMO 1-2019 has been attached herewith for your perusal. please see the link below

With the introduction of RAMO 1-2019, we recommend that taxpayers revisit their transfer pricing documentation to ensure alignment with these new guidelines. The newly issued RAMO also provides some focus on related party transactions entered with PEZA-registered local companies.
As the BIR is increasing its focus on transfer pricing, multinational companies registered under PEZA with significant related party transactions are exposed to potential transfer pricing risks and tax adjustments. This seminar will give you a better understanding of transfer pricing audit procedures as well as the implications of RAMO 1-2019.
Kindly RSVP by 25 November 2019 to reserve your spot in the seminar and indicate which session you will be attending (i.e. morning or afternoon session). We will only be entertaining 1 to 2 representatives from each company due to the limited slots for this seminar.
We hope to see you there.
