In support to the newly approved Republic Act No. 11058, otherwise known as the “Act of Strengthening Compliance with the Occupational and Health Standards and Providing Penalties for Violations thereof”, we are pleased to offer the mandatory training of Safety Officer 1 which is specifically indicated in Section 16,” Safety and Health Training”.
RATIONALE:
This course is a fundamental and mandatory requirement to all companies nationwide, particularly in developing and implementing health and safety programs in their workplace with reference to the following Philippine law:
- RA 11058 otherwise known as the “Act of Strengthening the OSH Standards and Proving Penalties to Violations thereof
- PD 442 The Labor Code of the Philippines
- Rule 1033 of Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards (as amended)
- Department of Labor and Employment’s Department Order No.16 series of 2001
- Department of Labor and Employment’s Department Order No.13
- Department of Labor and Employment’s Department Order No.132
- Department Order No.198
TARGET PARTICIPANTS:
All employees including to but not limited to Management Committee members, Safety Officers, Emergency Response Team Members, Management Trainee, Security Guards/ Commanders & other Security Personnel, Safety Officers and Engineers, Members of Safety & Health Committee, Line or Group supervisors, Project Managers, Foreman, Occupational nurse and doctors, HR and Admin employees and other employees.
