Presenting the list of candidates (in no particular order) for the 2020 Board of Directors Election. Out of nine (9) nominees, seven (7) accepted the challenge and responsibilities of being SBFCC Director.
The five (5) candidates with the highest votes will join the two retained directors for the next year and shall represent your companies in the business sector. So, please VOTE WISELY!
Please consider participation in the Election of the Board of Directors in the capacity as a wise voter. Choose those who will do something for the Freeport, for you and for other residents and investors.
Next Steps:
From October 8 – October 31, 2020 will be the campaign period. Official candidates may conduct campaign strategies of their choice. Candidates may request assistance from the Election Committee should there be any campaign materials or ads they would want to be disseminated to the voting members of the Chamber.
From November 5 – November 23, 2020 is the Voting Process. All members will be asked to vote for the candidates of their choice from the final list of those who have agreed to serve. The candidates receiving the highest number of Corporate votes will, along with the remainder of the 2020 Board, form the new 2021 Board of Directors. Subsequently, the new Board shall, once voting results have been tabulated, choose the SBFCC Officers.
