Biography
On a field trip during her college years more than 20 years ago, Josephine had her 1st glimpse of Subic Bay. The first thing that caught her eyes was the sign PED XING on the roads of Subic Bay. She then did not only admire the traffic discipline of Subic, but also its compliance to a biker’s need. That then left an impression to her that Subic is a biker- friendly place. Although not a biker herself, she had strong vision that it’s the best solution for traffic, pollution and better health in the community.
In 2007, she started her career in real estate and business development. Since then, she always had this vision that Subic can attract more visitors if it’s well lighted. That’s when she had this slogan “Light Up Subic” on her first project presentation to the SBMA Board. In which she was able to fulfill her first commercial project, the La Terraza Bldg. beside the Royal Duty Free Shop Main. The building was indeed well lighted with a big LED wall as a façade on one side of it. It is also the home of the newest and most modern hotel now in Subic, the Le Charme Suites Subic, where everyone passing through the intersection of Rizal Highway and Argonaut Highway will definitely see the big lighted signage of the property.
These two (2) firsts of Josephine inspired her to envision and develop a bike system in the Freeport with high hopes that it will spearhead the legacy to all other places in the country.
