Because it's a Jungle out there!
We've been hosting film-makers for more than half a century, from Fritz Lang (An American Guerilla in the Philippines) to Richard Gere (An Officer and a Gentleman), and continue to help overseas productions from Europe, Asia and the US get more bang for their bucks in Asia's greatest, safest location.

One of Subic Bay's Mangrove sanctuaries
Formerly the site of America's largest military facility outside the United States, Subic Bay is now a burgeoning 65,000 hectare freeport inside a secure zone. Two thirds of the area remains a rainforest stretching from mountaintop to mangrove swamp, plus beaches and a film-friendly, well-protected bay. The remaining areas include tourism resorts and facilities - it's the country's premier vacation destination , light industrial zones, a seaport and an airport.

Subic Bay is the Fedex hub for Asia
The Film Commission
The Subic Bay Film Commission was established by the Subic Bay Chamber of Commerce to help film-makers maximize their budgets and make shooting a film as painless as possible. The Film Commission consists of film industry-savvy professionals with decades of experience behind them. We're here to assess your needs, help find location, crew and cast, and assist in getting permits and visas.
Over the past 10 years more than 100 international and domestic productions have chosen Subic Bay Freeport, and we hope you will join us, too.
Currently, the Film Commission is also represented in Los Angeles and Taipei.
Not only can we assist you in your shoot in Subic Bay, but we can help, too, in other parts of the Philippines.
