Due to Popular demand by SBFCC members, the Subic Chamber will again organize a basketball tournament between its member companies. it is expected that many more will be fielding their own teams to join this year’s competition. 12 teams are only allowed to join last year’s Basketball tournament.

LINE UP/PLAYERS
- Target number of teams is sixteen (tba)
- Participants must be employees of a company which is a member of the SBFCC.
- Only three (3) imports are allowed to play per team.
- Import players are allowed to play up to the finals. Thus, only two players are allowed to play during the game.
- Players will be screened by the commissioner.
- Official line-up can consist players exceeding 15 pax during the play-offs.
- Only 15 players will stay on the team’s official line-up and will be allowed to play during the semi-finals and final games; players must be included on the original official line-up that has been submitted prior the opening of the tournament. Changing of players will not be allowed.
- Waiver for Liability should be filled-up and sign by all participants including coaches and assistant coaches.
- Deadline of submission of official line-up, waiver and team entry fee is on March 19, 2020.
- Teams who already submitted official line-up & waiver and paid entry fee can proceed on making their uniforms.
- Opening meeting will be scheduled.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- FIBA rules and regulations will apply.
- Players, coaches, and assistant coaches should be in proper uniform with SBFCC logo.
- Technical fouls and violence will have equivalent penalties to prevent commotion.
- Only players, coaches and assistant coaches are allowed on the team’s bench area.
- One technical committee will be hired – they have the power/ authority to decide on infractions of the rules committed either within or outside the boundary line including the scorer’s table, the team benches and the areas immediately behind the lines.
- Game format is 2 brackets – single round robin; top 4 of each bracket will play for the semi-finals, which is once to beat.
OPENING OF THE TOURNAMENT AND SCHEDULE OF GAMES
- Opening of the Tournament
- The opening (tba).
- All teams should have a representative for the muse pageant.
- Draw lots will be conducted for the first games after the opening.
- Teams will bring their balloons and banner
- Schedule of Games
- There will be games scheduled daily.
- Schedule of games will be given to all teams in ahead of time.
- Teams should avoid defaults.
OTHERS
- All teams should settle their entry fee (Php 10,000.00) on or before March 19, 2020
- Fees per game:
- Play-offs: Php 1,000.00 with two (2) official referees
- Semi-Finals and Finals: Php 1200.00 with three (3) official referees
- Acknowledgment receipt will be given to teams during the games. OR will be given the next game.
- First Aid must be available during the whole duration of the tournament
- Each team is allowed to bring tarpaulins to advertise their team/ company during their games.
